Unified Messaging Services - Your VIRTUAL OFFICE

What do we mean by a 'Virtual Office" application? There are basically two styles of Virtual Offices:

Style A: For mobile professionals - It provides a person the flexibility to leave the office or travel and still receive calls without being tied down to any one location or phone.

The main features are as follows:
The service provides 'call screening' so that you know who is calling you before you answer the telephone.
The service provides the ability to search you down at multiple locations or telecommunication devices and it gives you the ability to change the location or device where it finds you.

Its benefits are as follows:
The ability to continue to receive your calls when you leave the office, or are on the road, or travel between multiple sites, or want to get away and relax pool side and still handle important business.
Customers get to talk to you in real time.... thereby satisfying customers and potentially having more business.
Greatly eliminates voice mail jail and tag.
Low cost

Style B: Multi-Office Locations - Many small companies today have people working out of their homes or are spread out in different locations. The Virtual Office therefore is the telecommunication portal for that business. An example below will illustrate its utility and power.

XYZ Company has three people in three locations. One person resides in San Francisco, another person resides in Denver and a third person resides in the United Kingdom. When a call comes in the calling party would hear the following scenario: "Thank you for calling the XYZ company, if you know the extension you are trying to reach enter it now, for John Doe, please press ext 111, for Sally Green please press ext 112 and for Fred Waring please press ext 113." When the calling party presses ext 111 they are connected to San Francisco, when they press ext 112 they are connected to Denver and when they press ext 113 they are connected to the United Kingdom. The calling party has no idea that the company is spread out in this way. They think that the people reside in the same office location. In addition, when John Doe gets the call in San Francisco and, after talking to the customer, finds that the customer should talk to Fred Waring, he can transfer the caller to Mr Waring just as if he was in the same office.
